Look at the wikipedia source you provided.....we gave no aid to Saddam until Reagan took over in 1980......and that aid does not include the war related products sold directly to Saddam by US industry at the behest of the Reagan administration. Brumar, contary to the BS found in your source, it was a Congressional hearing done in the early 1990s, not the left, that 'indicted' the Reagan administration over their fraternizing with Saddam.....and of course, there was the US's economic boycott and blockade of Iran when Iraq started to lose the war.
