I have this gut feeling that Hillary and Obama would be vinegar and oil on the same ticket. And each one polls about the same against McCain overall.

Just based on all the crap that has flown back and forth the last six weeks, I would put the odds of a joint ticket at 10% or less. Obama can pick Richardson, Webb, or Nunn and get national security credibility plus more centrist balance. All without the high negatives that Hillary brings along.

Hillary would probably opt for someone from one of her key battleground states. The Republican commercials quoting her saying Obama isn't ready to be commander in chief would hurt a joint ticket.

All just wild-ass guesses at this point.
