IMO you don't really appreciate the difference between this board and others. While a little demonization creeps in, Dale does a pretty good job slapping it down. I do recognize that. Demonization was the farthest thing from my mind. It's not what I was talking about. Nor was the excessive nature of the rhetoric. I recognize and appreciate those differences. I was referencing the swarming, the mutual grooming, the mantra recitation, the wagon circling/cutting out of the other. I also had in mind the hyper-low threshold of other. That's perhaps the most remarkable similarity to me. I can understand your reaction as you experienced demonization. I didn't, or if I did, it wasn't memorable. I was finding common elements in my experience and not thinking at all of yours or any other elements. I know we have discussed this before: a comparison made on certain particulars implies nothing whatsoever about any other particulars.
