No doubt about it. Chinese have the money and need matals.

But they don't have the know-how (yet). Chinese mining industry is archaic.

I hope canadian and/or australian contractors and services companies will boycott Ecuador and let the chinese do the mining there. Then Ecuadorians will realize what "bad mining practices" mean!
