No, I don't know of recent changes. That's hard to imagine. Everyone seems to get cataract surgery sooner or later and Medicare has been paying for it.

Kate, on the question of whether Medicare still pays for cataract surgery, the answer is yes. I just inquired about the same and was told by my optometrist who referred me to someone to do the surgery, that such is the case.

His staff is top notch on these kinds of issues.
