ROFL. I am probably too sanguine about energy. I work from my home now and just don't drive much.

I read more about PBR's huge NEW offshore oil finds in Brazil and must say that offshore drilling is starting to intrigue me. I own the stock of PBR and am looking at a couple of the oil service companies now.

If the Artic cap truly melts off, there's speculation of oil down under.

At any rate, the advances in deep water and slant drilling are noteworthy.

Speaking of solar, on the drawing boards are big 'balloons' covered with thin film solar technology that float up above and somehow transmit down to earth, LOL.

Seriously, though, solar excites me. Right now, our use of solar is only 7% of world wide usage.

>>I know - no nukes, no ANWR, no coal, no off shore drilling - lol - wind and solar oh yeah - except off Cape Cod - and NO SOLUTION!<<

One of the main solutions is to use our existing energy resources more efficiently. Silicon Valley is working on it...
