Can you imagine your worldview if you were Joe Citizen and all you saw and read came from the MSM?

If you have not read the NYTimes article today on the various ways in which the Bush Pentagon tried to create "information dominance" by influencing TV military analysts, then let me suggest you do so. The link to it is in one of my posts last night.

It's a very big deal.

I was glad to see other pundits jump on ABC for their tabloid-trashy debate plan. But I find it very unseemly to listen to the candidates and their immediate surrogates whine away about all this stuff. It's like little kids after losing a baseball game.

"I woulda won if Bobby wasn't throwing all those mean pitches at me! And the sun was in my eyes, honest, it wasn't fair I had to bat first! And the umpire never liked me, did you see those bad calls he made! Waaaaaaaaaaaaa!"

That's how it all comes across to me after a while. It may change some of the coverage here and there, but for the most part it just makes otherwise dignified people look like whiners.
