John - the theory of Peak Oil is based on physical production limitations.

I understand that, Bob. But "physical production limitations" are not a definitely known number. Technological innovations and price supports for expensive explorations for new oil have to be in the equation. But are sizeable unknowns. Perhaps unknowables.

And, best I can tell, Peak Oil notions, don't translate directly into price either. Price runs along other rails.
