Actually Ethanol, detergents, and other additives are blended with raw gasoline at a blending facility owned by the oil company, such as Shell.

Blending facilities are located in refineries, or at the termination point of distribution pipelines prior to delivery to the customer in trucks.

I am in WI. So at least Shell gas in WI has NO ethanol! and that is TRUE! Shell would NEVER be that stupid to claim NO ethanol and 100% gasoline while in fact there is ethanol, since that would mean MILLION-Dollar Law Suit!
