hey, rmf. i was making the contrast. being an atheist (or something)... i don't care. i'd as soon not ever know a thing about a candidates religion or faith or lack thereof. as long as they have faith in people. that i would like in a candidate. you are right. i shouldn't have even drawn that contrast. just said what you said. and said well.

Great post. Gee what if past presidents had their lives delved into as today's candidates.

Would we have held it against some of the earlier ones as they had slaves. AND Jefferson my very favorite, he had a consensual sex with a SLAVE. Imagine.

That did not prevent those early men from doing great things for our country..

Why we have to be so specific and so really PETTY today is not in my comprehension and I detest it.
