Thank goodness Brazil sanitized their business in the 1990s . . . so they were prepared to see a continued parade of massive bank failures, such as the collapse of Banco Santos in 2004 costing Brazilians more than $1 billion.

I'm sure you're right that Brazil is very eager and excited to take additonal billions of bank losses this year and more in the next few years.

Those crazy Brazilians. Nothing makes them quite as happy as a collapsing bank or massive losses. Happy, happy! Samba, samba.
