That makes no sense- which doesn't mean it won't sell- Dale made a very good point there. I don't know what you can do about that, except try to hammer on the reality.

If Equal Time and the Fairness Doctrine were restored, we would see many of these talk shows disappear in short order. I am hoping the new congress/administration might, at least do that.
Congress passed a bill to restore the fairness doctrine in 1987- but Reagan vetoed it. That made Rush Limbaugh the phenom he is to this day.
I think Clear Channel and other big radio owners would think twice about carpet bombing the nation with Right Wing talkers if they had to turn around and provide an equal amount of time for the other extreme.

The only comments from the candidates I've seen was Obama's statement that he would seek to clarify the public interest obligations of broadcasters.
