We may get pushes here and there but the partisan food fight and gridlock after another 50.x% election won't yield anything dramatic. Bush couldn't even get big domestic legislation through when his own party still held Congress. Imagine if Hillary is the Senate majority leader with McCain as president, and everything that passes through the Senate is a 2012 campaign issue. Total blockage, I would guess. Some folks prefer that, I know, but I agree there is an urgency to getting things changed now.
