robin,

Your point is certainly valid. I would offer that having the time to dedicate to the market fulltime should (a big assumption) improve performance. And, it would allow me to take on the types of positions that require real-time management. At the present time I am a position trader and need not be active during trading hours. If I could sit in front of the box and react to the knee-jerk traders I'm playing against, my risk tolerance might actually increase.

Of course I could be destroyed too, so my already strict self-imposed money management <guidelines> might have to revised to be a bit more restrictive.

I do have a multiyear safety net that would be parked somewhere safe (I'm no longer sure where the safe place might be) and completely excluded from consideration for trading.

Thanks for your thoughts.
