I have to disagree a bit, Tim. "Full legal personhood" actually is the point. The morality, or any individual's assessment of the morality, is a separate issue WRT abortion.

"Full legal personhood" doesn't happen until the fetus reaches age 21, or 18 in some states.

Many who contend that "life begins at conception" often don't really believe that themselves, or are ignorant of how birth control pills work. Birth control pills prevent a fertilized egg from attaching to the uterus, so if those who think that life begins at conception use the BC pills, they are actually destroying a "human being."

Re: "And the point you asked, is irrelevant to the overall issue."

Hey!

If you insist on *dodging* the question I asked... then why in Hell do you bother wasting ink by pretending that you are holding a conversation or discussion?

(Because you are not. Conversations have two sides.... If all you want to do is figuratively stand on a soap box and yell to the wind then you certainly don't need my cooperation or assistance to do so!)
