The present events are classic - they prove what Lenin indicated 80 to 90 years ago about free capitalism and why the system he promoted makes more sense. It also proves that too much freedom kills any democracy, a fact the ancient Greeks knew many centuries ago. The most strange aspect of all this is the fact that pension funds eager to increase their assets and ability to pay their obligations, are speculating in the commodity markets and by this making the receiver of the pension from their funds even more poorer if not driving those persons into outright poverty
