Well the deal increases Hillside collateral SHARPLY. Mainly protects the creditors, but also in the sense that old shareholders get a piece if a big score occurs, it protects shareholders from a Chapter 7 which would have given shareholders zero.

The creditors did make concessions and cough up some cash.

However, while I think the senior note holders and Hillside are more than entitled to their initial 90 million ( most going to Hillside I am sure)...past that point they have already been richly rewarded...especially the senior note holders....in bodacious interest payments +PIK over the years.

So at that point I don't see why they deserve such a rich percentage of the hypothetical remainder....I really don't

(all assuming a big score...which please remember, may never happen)

While most reorganizations leave shareholders with little or no hope of recovery, this one is different. But I believe shareholders deserve a much larger cut of da possible pie.....would be nice if you could get get Don Fehr in here to negotiate for you...too bad the baseball players association already has him
