I have watched several immigrant families through the generations. The pattern has always been the same (with exceptions):

Most of the first generation come to the US at about age 30. They work hard to pay the bills but never really integrate into the host country society, instead choosing to speak the language of the old country and learning just enough to be able to survive. Their children speak both languages and take their parents to medical appointments and other places where translation might be an issue. Generation two are integrated into the new society but can fit fine when necessary into their parents culture. Their grandchildren learn to speak the language to communicate with their grandparents and are fully integrated into society.

"In recent history cultures have clashed and blended and that trend is not going to reverse so we've got to learn to get along or engage in a mutual race to destruction."

It seems that many muslims don't want to learn a new culture, insisting instead on separate courts and other governmental services.

In the US I am not aware of other immigrant cultures that have attempted to remain apart for generations. Perhaps the best example in the US of the problem that this behavior causes is among the polygamist sects of Mormons. Eventually once they flaunt the law too excessively, law enforcement has to intercede to restore order. Are we going to have to remove their children and place them in foster homes some day?

You can accuse those who wish to remain Christian demons and whatever other names you choose. That does not make it so.
