It's almost an impossible situation unless the Dems serve up a victory for him on a platter.

Unfortunately, there's a likely scenario they will do just that.

Dale, what do you think about Obama refusing to debate in NC?

I saw Lanny Davis making a big deal of this on FOX and claiming H. Dean may have had a hand in it and should resign?

After Obama's poor showing in this last poll, I think this will be used to make him look peevish/afraid/elitist or perhaps all of the above. Not good, IMO. Better to be a good sport, pull yourself up and keep chugging.
