I think it has a lot to do with the 81% who think the country is going in the wrong direction. Instead of worrying about whether a politician will have a beer with them, they are looking for someone who can turn the system on its ear and go off in a new direction.

The days of folksy home-grown politicians is pretty much gone. Even the most recent presidents who won on that image pulled it off as an illusion.

Surprising to see such a large percentage consider Change as the most important factor.

Recall that about 80% of Americans think that the nation is on the wrong track.
