Lance I do not know who that "someone else" you were referring to is, I believed it to be me since I am the the Minyanville professor most often writing about deflation. Can I ask who you were referring to when you wanted to get "get someone else's perspective on the matter"? I see now it was not me, but many others did ask me to comment on it and I have emails and comments on my blog to prove it, so it did not seem that far out of line given that we are both Minyanville professors for me to think you were asking for comments. I apologize for assuming you wanted a perspective when it now clear you do not want a perspective, at least from me. But to ask that the entire article be deleted is complete silliness. This is what I will do for you Lance. I will change the opening statement From: "I was asked by professor Lance Lewis (and many others) to reply to on a post by Doug Noland called Setting the Backdrop for Stage Two." To: "I was asked by many to reply to on a post by Doug Noland called Setting the Backdrop for Stage Two." See how easy that was? Not a thing else needs to be changed. Mish
