Yes and no, when you take over an industry and own it that is socialist, if only some of it, say the poor, then it is partly socialist. If you don't own the industry but mandate how it operates, and review every detail that is fascist. Our regulation of the railroad and at one time the airline's is fascist. Admittedly some areas of government must use these tactics to a lesser extent and the government is still not socialist or fascist. The government is just not going to do a better job, its always worse. And the worst part is you won't be able to sue the government.

I gather you don't like the Dems. I get the point.

I was a dem when the issues were civil rights, and other rights that were trampled on. But I quit when they started their socialist plans. Be aware I don't consider unemployment, social security, and welfare as socialist. This is because there is little they can control this way. But when they start moving into territory that is already provided by corporations, then I draw the line. Better to give these people more welfare for health care and let them decide what to do with it.
