OMG, that is depressing yet not completely unexpected. I recently watched "The World According to Monsanto" on google video. I would recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it. Warning: It will make you sick and depressed. And probably afraid to not frequent organic food markets.

Elroy is there a study out on corn? I collected information about corn crops in the US and Eastern Europe - similar latitudes soil quality and found that the US crop per acre is more than double that in CEE. Even 3 to 1 in many cases.

Just wonder why the differences - The US seeds are GM of course CEE seeds are natural selection.

Asked DuPont subsidiary Pioneer in Romania and received no answer
