Dale, I trust that you know that do share your aversion to demolition derbies. But I aversions can be trumped by other aversions. Sometimes the cure is worse than the disease. For those who support the cure, then there is no conflict. About the only thing I remember from psych 101 is that aversion/aversion conflicts are the most difficult to resolve. Have a little pity. <g>

YES!! There's a part of me that hates the thought that either of the Dem candidates as POTUS will only preside over a downwardly spiralling America......and then the Democratic Party will be blamed forevermore as the 'party that brought down America' or some such other crap.

That same thinking also makes me not so sure I want Hillary, a woman, in there receiving the same historical stigma.

Yikes!! The old be careful what you wish for thing.
