Allen,

I blame Dean because a good party leader would have found a way out of the situation. The state party leaders share some of the blame. But who are the voters going to blame? And how will that play out for the Democratic nominee if Michigan and/or Florida are important pieces of the electoral map?

A good compromise was done by the Republicans. Dean could have followed that lead and it could have been settled. But I have gotten the feeling that Dean has wanted Obama as the nominee and was unwilling to do anything that would jeopardize his chances.
