if there was any concern of inflation in the US or anywhere in the world, gold/silver miners would be making new highs. It is just the opposite, no strength, especially long term, with any of the miners.

Some thoughts on this Ruff Market Timer and his prediction of 400% inflation? Howard Ruff's 1974 book "Famine and Survival in America" was published in the wake of the 1973 oil crisis and predicted massive famine within a year, encouraging readers to store food in preparation. Howard Ruff later repudiated much of that book. He has kept it out of print and claims to have purchased the undistributed copies and destroyed them. I'm watching the very same movie in reruns now. It's amazing how people find it just as hypnotizing as when it was first released. .
