When did any President of the United States ever publicly say that the US would "obliterate" any other country in a given situation? Or any words to that effect, even? The only thing I can recall that even comes close was Reagan's "We start bombing in five minutes" joke, which he delivered at a moment when he was unaware that the satellite feed was live. - Allen
