Newberry et al are no dummies...analysts are now harping on the past/billings - what happened to the cycle has peaked scenario? The cycle has peaked used to be THE favorite spin...how long will it take before they figure it out... we believe the reduction in equipment spending maybe down 20% to the 27% on a shipment stand basis relative to 2007. Our analysis suggests that even a down 25% scenario requires a strong acceleration of shipments in the last three to four months of the year.
