The smart move by Washington would be to get out of the Middle East ASAP

Agreed. But, what would the Military/Industrial/Defense complex do without war?

With what we spent on the war in Iraq, we could have fast fowarded oil sands production both here in the USA, and Canada. How much alternative energy could we have created if we offered tax credits for producers of alternative energy, instead of windfall profits for Cheney and Halliburton.

Remember right after our initial occupation of Iraq, how we brought in plane loads, literally pallets of cash? Cash used to bribe tribal leaders, and cash used to jump start and operate the economy. How much cash, and how much black market oil do you think has been skimmed out of Iraq? But, before you answer, realize how many HUNDREDS of MILLIONS no bid companies like Halliburton have already been CAUGHT skimming, and over billing.

These F#%#&'n One World Elitists will keep this up until either the system collapses because they sucked it bone dry, or until people riot in the streets. Either way it ends, they already got the cash and villas in Switzerland and the Carribean.

I honestly think Ron Paul was Americas last chance.

By 2012 it may be too late to fix it, and he'll be too old to run.
