One just has to watch Letterman's "Great Moments in Presidential Speeches" to have example upon example upon example of Bush's buffoonery. Buffoons apparently are not capable of having character. I got to say I am really coming round to like McCain. He put a halt to the Repub's running an attack ad against Obama featuring Wright. Imagine a man in the White House who actually has backbone and principle! Just putting an end to a national policy of torture would be wonderful but if the whole "swift boating" style of politics was thrown in the toilet that would be icing on the cake!
