It did turn out right.

An American Special Forces Team recruited, trained, equipped, and led local indigenous forces on a local raid.
They killed 120 enemy in a 2 day gunfight, and lost 2. Pretty tough to improve on that 48 hours...Some teams have though.

That is what SF does. That is why they are known as a force multiplier.

A conventional American Infantry Battalion might have lost 50 men in that fight and still considered it successful.

Green Beret wearing American Special Forces are the most lethal individuals on any battlefield. That is why they get so much respect.
That does not mean they are invincible. War is a fight to the death and sometimes we do the dying.
