Nice theory but even the Wilshire 5000 was less than 20% off it's peak at the depths of the 'depression' on March 17th:



Consider the October to March decline to be wave one down. We're now in wave 2, which will inevitably be followed by (you guessed it!) Wave 3, the Big Kahuna. My guess is that the 2 runs maybe a few more weeks, then it's sell in May and go away for a year or two.....
