Why would Obama be on the ticket? I don't think there is any way he could stand working with her, even if she could ask him, and I don't think she can after what she's said about him. After all, if he's so inexperienced she really can't ask him to be a heartbeat away from answering that 3am phone call, right?

And I think the press has been scurrilous in many ways- and not just when attacking Hillary. Some of the coverage of Obama has been pretty cheap and shoddy- although I just put it down to the press hunting blood and guts- because they want the sexy stories. Delving in to minutiae about platforms isn't what sells papers.

I suspect all here will vote Dem when it comes right down to pulling that lever.....even Seminole and Chinu, . . .

I will be stunned if either of them doesn't vote Dem. But I will be equally stunned if Bob and Karen and Tim and, I'm certain there are others here, do.

There are several non Dems on the thread. And, despite some serious political disagreements, we continue to have good conversations. A tribute to Dale. And to all of us.

Kate, the contest for the Democratic nomination has degenerated into negative attacks. I don't recall any negative attacks up until those string of Obama's primary victories.

Furthermore, the Republicans who moved to impeach Clinton in the 90's suddenly have a fondness for Hillary. Baffling, isn't it. Didn't they push for impeaching Bill and went after Billary for Whitewater? Didn't they accuse the Billarys for Vince Foster's suicide? What happened suddenly?

So my question is, if Hillary's collusion with people like Richard Mellon Scaife, Sean Hannity etc. makes her the nominee, then is she truly a Democrat or is she a prop of the Conservatives. If they put her on that spot, why would she not be indebted to them. I think the party bigwigs are very aware of this.

Yes I will vote for the Democrat nominee, Barack Obama.
