i will posting commentary over the weekend:) i also have worry that Devin Thomas won't be there at 19 as i just saw a Yahoo! video on those that have risen the highest in the eyes of drafters and Devin Thomas was the first spoken of---evidently he put on quite a show at the NFL Combine, his 4.3 40 burner speed opened eyes. i can it hear now "x team has traded their 1st round pick and their 4th round pick in exchange for Eagles first round pick and Lito Shepard." Eagles then have 12 picks, so they might trade their two 4s for an additional #3.--will see. Domowitch ,Inquirer writer is trying to scare fans that Reid will draft an OT as a their #1--no no, OTs aren't sexy-LOL! Max

The big moment came--tick tick tick, and then NOTHING happened. Eagles traded out of #19 to Panthers and i have NO IDEA what is going on!! Lito , no rumours, nuttin, is still an eagle as of now. We could have taken Devin Thomas, of course, but Eagles chose not too.Max

Panthers picked Jeff Otah(OT) at 19, Eagles got a Pantherrs 2nd and 4th round pick for this draft and Panthers #1 for 2009. Barring a Lito trade pronto, Eagels will for the 2nd year have traded out of the 1st round. We now have 2 2nd picks(43 and 49) 1 3rd round pick(80) and 3 4th round picks and 6 more picks in lower rounds. After 20picks not one receiver has been picked in the draft.Max 7 OTs have been picked in first 21 picks! Dallas Picks NOW--if they pick Devin Thomas i will be BOTHERED!

#47, their first pick in the draft was Trevor Law DT-ND(he is listed as DE on Yahoo!, but he was drafted as a DT), teammate last year of Abiamiri(so Abiamiri certainly had a good deal of input). But it says they do not feel good about their DT rotation--beyond Bunkley and Patterson, they are not at ease. i think they are seeking a quite solid 3 man rotation. #49, they did go get Desean Jackson. Issue is SIZE( 5'9" 170) and his "work ethic". But they had the camera on him all day, and he looks "hungry" to me. Eagles season, so MUCH rides on last years picks. They are making a major bet by giving Stewart Bradley the MLB slot. As one writer said, Eagles future is going to ride on their bet that Bradley/Gocong/Gaither and Jordan as the LBs will gel into a force.(Their average age is about 24!) Abiamiri is now being projected to be the likely starter with Thomas rotating with him. To me, at this point i feel they MUST keep LITO for the year ahead.
