I agree up to a point, when things are phrased badly and cause unintentional gaffes.

But I draw the line at making up stories from whole cloth. If it was just stress and fatigue, then the argument that she is ready from day one to decide the world's fate at 3AM is bunk.

Whether the problem is judgment or a lack of toughness (yes, that's what it comes down to), we are left with a major problem.

When do we believe her, and when do we discount part or all of what she says because she may just get it all wrong that day or week?

This is where Hillary's negatives come from. Her apologists just don't want to face that unfortunate fact, cause and effect. They would rather whine about conspiracies instead.

If Hillary's experience and judgment were so superior, she would have wiped Obama out of the race early on. Now she is basically saying, "Of course I'm the best! It's not my fault I'm behind!"

That is lame, IMHO.
