OK, I think I figured it out.

Tax people along the lines Buffet has urged and invest those monies on infrastructure here at home There is nothing confusing about that statement,

You're right, there is nothing confusing in that, as I said at considerable length in my last post. My entire last post. That's not new news. When you say there's nothing confusing about it, you're agreeing with me. If you still think there was any misunderstanding over that, I am once again incredulous.

Here's the transaction you referenced and my follow:

Steve: I would tax people along the lines Buffet has urged and invest those monies on infrastructure here at home.

Karen: I don't see any reason why McCain and a D congress couldn't or wouldn't do that.

As you can "clearly" see in that, I understood and accepted your agenda re Buffet etc. That had become a given. I was moving on to the next part of the issue which was about the possibility of McCain and a D congress enacting it, which, if you recall, was the context in which I asked and you provided your agenda.

I don't know just what it was that got your back up. In the future I will be careful to keep the thread of any discussions we might have simple and my language devoid of personality.
