This market is treacherous. Today the risk trade returned: financials with tremendous debt surged while many companies with good balance sheets and strong cash flow in defensive sectors were weak. Of course trading volume has become dull. Those with good professions have no need to risk their hard earned $$$ here. I am sitting on a lot of cash but refuse to buy crap. There is some value in certain sectors of the market, but the big problem is that the market has not factored in the big slowdown in consumer spending that is coming.
