Liar's loans. I saw those first hand. Bush removing banking regulations!

I have been bothered for quit some time from a cultural point of view of how our news media and almost everyone else has come to see lying as "spin" and if it is spin it is OK.

It is not OK. Lying is lying and spin is just a euphamism for lying and we are teaching our children it is Ok lie. In fact to not lie is often considered impolite in many circles.

Lying is not OK; being selfish is not OK, being a bully is not OK, racism and sexism are not OK and not standing up for the disadvantaged is not OK.

My favorite commercial, which I conside brillant, is the one about the guy with four arms or the other guy surrounded by locasts becasue they did something wrong and have bad karma. It is ends by saying "get on the right side of the universe".

I think my biggest disappointment as I grow into an old man is what people, even good people, wil do for status, power ad money and not developing their minds or being able to face reality.

But I guess that is just the human condition?

Man cannot stand too much reality as TS Eliot, or Jung said-lol.
