The price of diesel is having an impact on everything. Supermarket prices are going though the roof in southern New England. Just yesterday when I said, "Wow," out loud while looking at the pound price for broccoli ($2.69/lb.), the produce manager, who overheard me, said, "Look at the price of diesel the next time you pass a gas station." All the gas stations in this area sell diesel. I don't recall the exact price, but it was WELL over $4./gallon. Lynn
