I hear you. But for the absolutely most fascinating venture into academic arcania, you should listen to seminarians debate the social ethics of it. You don't know whether you are working it out with Augustine, Luther, Wesley, or whomsoever. For every argument put forward, there is a counter argument and a counter authority.

If you are into that sort of stuff, it's absolutely fascinating. And serious. I just couldn't take the bait.
