Sometimes actions speak louder than words. It's no wonder many Muslims think the US is out to get them, rather than the other way around. After all, whose army is on whose lands?

Bob -

Bush has repeatedly said that Islam is not our enemy, and that most Muslims are peace loving people. Yes.

He has also repeatedly promoted the paranoid idea that Islamic terrorism, or "Islamofascism" is an existential threat to us and our way of life. In doing so, he has perpetuated a state of fear within the population of our country, and that, in turn, has made a lot of people fear Muslims in general.

Just listen to any right-wing radio talk show for a while.
