While problems will occur with any system as extensive as the US Health Care system, the number of problems we have is very small. And you have failed in your efforts to show anything to the contrary. All you can do is post liberal writings and rants -- from people whose agenda is to bring about socialized medicine. I deal with physicians offices daily -- I'm in and out of clinics every week, and I can tell you that the biggest problems these people have is having to deal with Medicare and Medicaid. Now, if you think that bodes well for the idea of socialized medicine, you're not using your head. To be frank, almost NO physicians (less than 5%, I would guess) are even actively involved in the business end of their practice. They don't want to be and they are not. Most small practitioners have been bought out by larger organizations, or have competent people on staff to manage the money. They are interested in treating patients, not in dealing with the mundane aspects of collecting their money. And frankly, most understand relatively little about insurance and how they get paid. You say you could "bury me" with problems. Dude, I deal with it every day. I know what the problems are and what they are not. The uninsured are not a problem. And the "system of payment" you have mentioned is not a problem. What IS a problem is the red tape at Medicare, medicaid, RRMC, and to a lesser extent, Tricare. If you want to argue about this subject, I'm glad to do it. I've been doing this crap since '92 and there isn't a hell of a lot you can tell me about it.
