I have no problem with shades of grey, or with subtle nuances.

I do have a problem with people making false statements and then using arguments about shades of grey to try to defend them.

Contracting out services, isn't turning them over to the private sector. There is no shade of grey about that, its still a government paid and directed function.

Now you might have reason to complain about the specific contracts, or you might have a problem with government contracting in general, wanting to keep it all "in house" (why? I have no idea, but you may feel this way), but rants about privatization are irrelevant to the contracting issue (to the extent there is even an issue).
