just in in-tray quote for what it's worth, spoke to our trading desk on the US side and they saw real buying for the first time from long only funds in size in a quite a while. They expect follow through here based on conversations with accounts. Instos generally u/w fincos and people want to buy those, see MER saying they won't cut their div today (in conjunction w all the other data over the past couple of weeks) as indication as worst being behind us....NOT.... but you can't fight the tape. Investors are feeling more positive at least for the time being. Adv/Decline today also very positive and supportive of more upside. The China share comment was just a side comment that upside there should be sentiment positive for the region unquote
