It would help you, a great deal, if you would engage the thread in a serious conversation about these issues rather than accuse its members of simplicity. My own guess, after posting here for some time and based on a comparison of their posts and yours, that the general run of poster on this thread is quite capable of handling any complexity you throw at her or him. And their ability to do so has nothing to do with their political beginning point. it simply doesn't help for you to engage in arguments in which rather than advance evidence, information, structured arguments, you accuse others in the discussion of simplicity, lack of an ability to handle complexity. Again, to repeat something I said earlier, you seem like a nice guy. But you need to learn how to discuss issues you care about with people who don't start at the same place you do but live by the same rules of persuasion you do. Or should. But, if you continue to accuse thread members of simplicity, expect some rather tough stuff back.

I presume you are expecting some rough stuff. I have not heard you say what policies of this Administration has done this country any good. This country has never been in this sorry state as it is today in my memory. And to say that people of Democratic or leftist persuasion do not see or understand what is going on in the world!!?? People understand very well that wearing a lapel pin will not bring down the price of gas. People understand that food will not come to the table based on what Rev. Wright says or does not say. McCain is out there telling America that there is nothing wrong in America. Very similar to Cheney's "so" or the "FU" term he used on the Senate floor. So who do you think is oblivious to their surroundings? There was a poster this morning who posted the clip of the planes flying into the towers. What a damn sadistic pleasure that person must have taken to force us to see those painful pictures. Is that person oblivious to our sensitivities or what? That poster has a handle which rhymes with an animal. Figures. So please quit being blinded by partisanship.
