Look at Truman's disapproval rating and look at what history now says about him. Coolidge left office with a 75% approval rating and look at what history says about him. Get back to me in 25-50 years. I think you will be surprised

Now you're the one getting into "hypotheticals". Not really. I'm not detailing the hypothetical, only pointing out that the "Gore as president" scenario is a hypothetical, and that no one can ever know how he would have done. Bush has the HIGHEST disapproval rating in the last 70 years Thats approval not any sort of objective determination or proof of how he did, and also we don't know what Gore's rating would have been. You didn't say "I think Gore would have done better", you said "I've been proven right."
