Obama renounced him - a sly untruth.

He didn't RENOUNCE him. He merely said he didn't agree with a few isolated things Wright has said (not in his presence). He still considers Wright a friend and mentor.

I think he's too cynical. He has his shtick, and Obama has his shtick, and everybody knows they are just different acts for the great unwashed, right?

I don't believe that Rev. Wright actually believes half the stuff he says about the government deliberately giving black people AIDS, etc.
