How is it this kid with no experience derailed the Clinton Express with a simple message of something different?

I'm wondering about the continued viability of his derail-ability. I must say that I was very much affected by his messiah quality. Despite not favoring his public policies, I got caught up in the excitement. It tugged at me in many ways and I found myself cheering for him at some level. Well, whatever that wave was that flooded over me, it's over. He's just another candidate now. Don't know how typical I am. Just my own reactions.

People are desperate for a new direction - a new message - a new civility. They don't get that from the Washington long term politicians like Hillary and McCain. It's as if the politicians that move to Washington are infected with some disease. A disease with the symptoms of pandering and forgetfulness. Forgetfulness in that they forget who they represent.

There is no secret that Obama gets his support from grassroots. The people. If we pick the old time politician we will only have oursleves to blame for more of the same.

Dale, you're a seasoned stock market trader/watcher. You know what a momentum stock is. People see it going up and jump in without much investigation....it goes up more, catching the attention of a new group of buyers. It gets talked up on TV and at work, and the whole process repeats itself....until the public realizes the company wasn't that special to start with. Maybe weak earnings come out....or a scandal.

Obama was a momentum candidate.

People, for one reason or another, are taking a second look.....some 'sold' and went with a different stock, Hillary....the old workhouse, the safe investment in terms of experience.
