So what? They buy Russian arms. We are not in a cold war, but it looks like we are headed in that direction. We need to weigh that possibility. I am not saying we shouldn't.

None of these congressional 'do gooders' will talk about ANWR, the Gulf and offshore drilling that would make a serious dent in the Saudi and OPEC numbers that we import. This is no more than political BS and cover for Obama and Clinton and an effort to make themselves relevant.

BTW, the average price of gasoline in late 2006 was $2.33. The average price in May 2007 was 3.13. The average price on April 21 was $3.54.

Guess which political party has been in charge of the Congress during this period of time? Why, none other than all those elite thinking problem solvers like Schumer and Casey. They have watched it move up about 65% and done NOTHING!
