TSL,

I have listened to Tom O'Brien for over 10 years and he is one of the best TA gurus out there. I also heard him discuss the need for gold to base out and so far over the years he has been dead on with the gold market since 2001.

This chart gives a nice picture showing the breakout from $850 (the old record high). Technically you want to hold at this level but as long as $850 holds (old resistance should be new support) the bull should be fine (famous last words)>
